Our managers conferences is held in November for Registered managers in social care who come from all over the UK to attend this essential 24 hours to share best practice, voice concerns and learn first-hand about changes in regulation and quality ratings.
This unique event brings together managers from across the
country to learn about best practice, latest thinking and innovations, updates
on policy and to network, connect and learn.
The theme of this years conference is 'Taking Care Forward' –
and we are using the event as an opportunity to launch our new strategy with
managers of NCF member services.

Performing at the conference - Sheila McMahon 'What is normal?!'
Sheila McMahon, originally from the West of Ireland, is a Multi-talented, award winning Comedienne, Singer,
Songwriter, Qualified Counsellor and Author.
She has appeared on BBC 1, Channel 4, Sky Television and appears regularly on Big
She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, Spain, Ireland, Denmark and all over the UK.
She performs two hour one woman theatre show where she combines mental health with humour. Her motto is ‘Life is too serious to be taken seriously – besides no-one gets out alive anyway’
With her broad Irish Accent and her passion to promote great Mental Well-being, Sheila McMahon is looking forward to performing as part of The National Care Forum Conference for Managers.
