Residential and Home Care Providers are facing many challenges in the delivery of effective, high quality services: how Research in Practice for Adults can help.
Research in Practice for Adults (RiPfA)
is a partner-led, not-for-profit organisation. Our vision is to improve the outcomes and experience of people who are accessing social care and related services.
We do this by supporting those working in adult services to improve their practice, helping them stay up to date with the latest policies and research and to share their good practice.
RiPfA supports organisations to embed evidence-informed practice; evidence-informed practice brings together the views of people who use services, the expertise of social care practitioners and the most relevant academic research to deliver effective, quality services. We focus on key themes and sector priorities to gather together the evidence and produce a range of connected learning resources.
Our resources provide clear, accessible information that supports the design and delivery of effective care and support services.
Workshops: All of our workshop topics are designed to support provider organisations to embed into practice the Care Act and the requirements of the CQC.
Our connected learning suites: Workshop places are offered with associated publications in order to support the transfer of training into everyday practice. These packages are designed to accommodate different learning styles, support continuous professional development and are tailored to meet the needs of different levels within an organisation.
NCF members receive a 20% discount on our resources and services. Simply telephone or email your order using the contact details below and state that you are an NCF member.
Become a member: We work with over 30 Partners in Local Authority and National Charities (Sanctuary, National Care Forum) who benefit from a membership offer that includes publications, events, workshops, webinars, conferences, bespoke training and evaluation, online resources and bulletins signposting to the latest news and information.
Help us to help you
