Identifying priorities & building resilience for carers in EoL Care

Keech Hospice, Luton | 14th July 2017 | 10.30am 3.15pm

The National Council for Palliative Care are holding an interactive event to discuss priorities for carers who are currently caring for someone with a life-limiting condition or at end of life.

The event will:
  • Help identify the most important issues for current carers
  • Help to design some supportive mechanisms/tools around resilience for carers
  • Hear from former carers about their experiences
  • Form recommendations for future carers
Speakers include:
  • Jen Kenward, Experience of Care Lead, Community, Primary & Integrated Care, NHS England
  • Gemima Fitzgerald, Clinical Psychologist/Bereavement Lead, The Rowans Hospice, Portsmouth
  • Former carers who will share their personal experiences to help inform those who can influence change
