Home Group named in Stonewall's Top 100 employers

6 February 2018

Out of 434 entries from employers across the public, private and third sectors, NCF member Home Group sits in 75th position.

The list recognises and celebrates the commitment to understanding and advancing LGBT equality, and 2018’s Index marks the first time Stonewall have not just identified each employer’s pledge to equality, but also assessed how it is achieved.

Susan Fulton, Director of People at Home Group, said: “It’s fantastic that we’ve been named in Stonewall’s Index, and its testament to our approach on equality and diversity.

“We are huge supporters of wellbeing at work, and supporting LGBT colleagues is a part of that. Home Group’s culture is completely inclusive, and we’re delighted it’s been recognised again!”

Home Group has developed its approach over the last 18 months, through initiatives such as the Gender Reassignment and Transitioning Process.
As a keen supporter of colleague wellbeing, the North-East based company has a number of groups set up to support and promote the diversity of colleagues, through Partners in Pride, Allies Network and Human Library.
Home Group’s broader commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion supports the development of such support programs.
