Guild Care is proud to have opened its doors in support of National Care Home Open Day
on Saturday April 21st - the Queen’s 92nd birthday!
Two of Guild Care’s care homes in Worthing, Caer Gwent and Linfield House, hosted a range of fun activities for its residents on this day and the general public of all ages were invited to pop in.
At Caer Gwent in Downview Road a fun-packed day kicked off with a visit from a pair of alpacas from 10am and in the afternoon entertainment was provided by local singer Kim Bosner, along with afternoon tea in the garden.
The Mayor of Worthing and Worthing Town Crier was also be in attendance, mingling with residents and staff.
Over at Linfield House on Wykeham Road, residents had a visit from nearby St Matthews church in the morning. In the afternoon, Elvis was in the house to celebrate the Queen’s birthday and Victoria Park dog walkers group also came in with their pets.
