NCF Rising Stars Visit to Apetito in Trowbridge

28 June 2018

"What a fantastic day. I just wanted to say a massive thanks to you both, your people at the NCF and everyone who has supported the Rising stars programme for being absolute stars themselves!! The support and opportunities have been amazing."  Beccy Incledon, Registered Manager, Parkhaven Trust (NCF Rising Star 2017)

On 14 June The NCF Rising Stars and Mentors for 2017 and 2018 along with Vic Rayner visited Apetito in Trowbridge. This is a new event in the calendar of the NCF leadership development programme. The visitors were given a presentation by Jon Amies (Head of Specialist Nutrition) on dysphagia, texture modification in meals, IDDSI update and then texture modified meals tasting session held in the farmers market area.

During the afternoon Oomph! provided transport in their Out and About Bus to take everyone to Marshfield Farm Ice Cream. Thank you to Apetito for providing an informative and rewarding afternoon as expressed so well by one of the participants “…thank you and all your team for your continued leadership and support and for an excellent experience at the visit to apetito.”
