NCF congratulates Andrea Sutcliffe on new role

4 October 2018

NCF wish to congratulate Andrea Sutcliffe on her appointment as Chief Executive of the NMC.

Her breadth of experience across Health and Social Care means that she has a breadth and depth of experience to take to this role at NMC. NCF also wish to note the very significant contribution to shaping social care provision for now and the future.

Vic Rayner, Executive Director of NCF says of her departure:-

“Andrea will be sorely missed when she leaves the CQC. As the Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care she has been a strong and effective leader, advocating for people who use social care and social care as a sector.”

In addition, Vic says:-

“During this time of significant change within the regulatory approach, it has been very positive to have strong engagement from Andrea and her team with all stakeholders across social care. She is an absolute champion of effective quality person centred care, and she has promoted a positive culture of innovation and change.”
